What is a Mom?

As I sat down to write today's blog, of course the first thought that came to mind was Mother's Day. Yes, Mother's Day is this Sunday. It will be a day celebrated across the US. Many will gather for lunches and dinners, while others will send flowers across the way. No matter how you celebrate this day, take time to think about all your mother has given you in your lifetime. A mother is there from the very beginning to love, protect, and nurture. She is a confidant, a nurse, a story teller, a singer, and sometimes even songwriter. She is a cook, a driver, a referee, a maid, and the official hug giver. She laughs when you laugh and cries when you cry. She wants nothing but the best for you, and you only want the same for her. Make sure you let your mom know how much you love her this weekend. Thank her for the little things and treasure each moment the two of you have shared.
